No sleep makes me delirious therefore I must blog about it!

Why, hello there my dearest readers. It has been far too long since my last update and for that I am truly sorry. Between working on a night show all the way in Queens (two trains worth of commute from Jersey City where I live) and all the writing I have been doing this semester for school, I'm hardly alive. However, today is an exception. I got up early, did all of my homework and have tonight off. Therefore, we're going to play a round of, 'WHAT'S GOING ON IN HEATHER'S LIFE FOR $200!'

So, let's begin.

On Oscar Sunday I drove 600 miles back to Toledo and had to give my daughter to my parents and her father. Jason is supposed to get her for 6 weeks of every summer. It is in our custody agreement with the long distance visitation schedule and I don't have a choice. However when I landed this new show, with the mix of 3pm-3am work days and two classes, I made the choice to give Jason his visitation now instead of summer to get my through all of this. By no means was this easy. I'm heartbroken by the silence in my apartment and every single time my phone rings and it's Ev calling to tell me, "Mommy come get me, I want my dinosaurs, you're my mommy, mommy come to grandma's house, mommy bring presents," I cry and die a little on the inside.

That same weekend, my annoying roommate told me he's also going back to Toledo because he got an offer to be in Sherlock Holmes, paid, for a month and he really wanted to do it.

So within two days I went from an apartment full of chaos, that I complain about but deep down never really minded, to just me. In NY/NJ. With no family. With no friends. Needless to say I call my mother about three times a day and I've been binge eating old Valentine's day candy.

Eric, the man that I was waiting for, got a girlfriend. And told me via text. And she's 18 years old. And he met her in AA. And she kind of looks like me which seriously freaks me out. Seriously.

So loneliness, a broken heart (again!), lack of sleep and creativity, no clean laundry and a fridge full of cheese has led me to a weird place. I've even been wearing hats.

WHAT HAS MY LIFE COME TO!?

So, there you all have it. The recent Heather thing. I'll take any and all suggestions at this point.
